What in the NLRB is Going on?

TIME: 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Description

Unions and striking union workers are making headlines. The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) appears to be hard at work, making work more difficult for employers.  If you have employees or an employee handbook, you will want to attend this webinar!

The NLRB, which makes decisions that impact union shops and also work places without a current union presence, is actively expanding union rights. Changes at the NLRB including restrictions on non-competes and mandatory meetings are making a vote for union representation much easier.

The Board has also returned its focus on employees’ rights under Section 7 of the NLRA to discuss wages, hours and terms and conditions of employment. This ambiguous standard creates landmines that all employers will want to avoid through a careful review of policies/handbooks – social media, professional workplace behavior and more policies can create unforeseen pitfalls for you.

Join us to ensure your managers are taught how to avoid the quicksand of NLRB ambiguity.
